Dr. Vishal Khullar is one of India’s leading Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons with over 32 years of experience in advanced cardiac, aortic, and transplant surgery. He is internationally recognized for his expertise in complex cardiovascular procedures, heart and lung transplantation, aortic surgery, and minimally invasive cardiac interventions.

Dr. Khullar holds the distinction of being the first Cardiovascular Surgeon in the Indian Subcontinent to serve as a Senior Associate Consultant at the prestigious Mayo Clinic, Rochester, USA. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery at Mayo Clinic and has completed extensive fellowships in cardiac surgery, aortic surgery, and heart & lung transplantation at Mayo Clinic and the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, USA.

Since 2017, Dr. Khullar has been performing a wide range of highly advanced cardiovascular and thoracic procedures, including beating heart bypass surgery, valve repair surgery, aortic root and arch replacement, complex redo-heart surgeries, mechanical circulatory support procedures, and heart & lung transplants. He is also an integral member of transplant selection committees and is known for delivering precision-driven, patient-focused cardiac surgical care.
