Dr. Vibha Varma

Dr. Vibha Varma is a highly experienced Liver Transplant and Hepato-Biliary-Pancreatic Surgeon with more than two decades of expertise in advanced liver and transplant surgery. She has been a key member of the pioneering team that performed successful liver transplants in India and has played an important role in establishing liver transplant programs across multiple cities in the country.

Dr. Varma has extensive experience with over 3,000 liver transplants and complex hepatobiliary-pancreatic surgeries. She specializes in living donor and deceased donor liver transplantation, liver cancer surgery, biliary surgery, pancreatic surgery, and minimally invasive laparoscopic and robotic donor procedures.

Her expertise also includes adult and pediatric liver transplantation, acute liver failure management, transplantation for hepatocellular carcinoma, portal hypertension surgery, and advanced surgeries for benign and malignant hepato-pancreatic-biliary diseases.
