Dr. Swarup Pal is a distinguished Cardiovascular, Thoracic, and Transplant Surgeon with over 28 years of experience in managing complex cardiac and thoracic conditions. He is currently associated with Gleneagles Hospital, Mumbai, where he provides advanced surgical care for both adult and pediatric patients.

He completed his MBBS from LTMMC, Sion, followed by MS and MCh from the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College & KEM Hospital, Mumbai. He further refined his surgical expertise under the mentorship of Padma Bhushan Dr. M. R. Girinath at Apollo Hospital, Chennai, where he also contributed as a DNB teacher.

Dr. Pal specializes in a wide range of advanced cardiac procedures, including total arterial beating heart bypass surgeries, valve repairs and replacements, and minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgeries. He is also an integral part of heart failure and transplant programs involving heart-lung transplants, ECMO, and ventricular assist devices (VADs).

His expertise extends beyond cardiac surgery to thoracic and vascular procedures, including lung surgeries, carotid artery interventions, limb-saving vascular reconstructions, and dialysis access surgeries. He is also experienced in managing emergency trauma cases involving chest and vascular injuries.
