Dr. Bharat Shah is a highly renowned nephrologist with over 46 years of experience in kidney care and transplantation. He currently serves as the Director and Head of Nephrology at Gleneagles Hospital, Parel, and has previously led nephrology departments at several leading hospitals in Mumbai.

He completed his MBBS and MD from KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and further specialized in nephrology. He enhanced his expertise internationally through a Clinical Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and a Clinical Research Fellowship at New England Medical Center, Boston.

Dr. Shah has a special interest in kidney transplantation, prevention and management of chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and diabetic kidney disease. He is also actively involved in research, publications, and medical education, contributing significantly to the advancement of nephrology.
