Dr. Amit Parasnis is a highly experienced Surgical Oncologist practising in Baner, Pune, with over 25 years of expertise in cancer surgery and advanced oncological care. He completed his MBBS from B.J. Medical College, Pune, and pursued specialised training in Surgical Oncology at the renowned Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. During his time there, he also completed a fellowship in Thoracic Oncology, gaining advanced skills in managing complex thoracic cancers.

To further enhance his expertise, Dr. Parasnis undertook international fellowships at globally reputed institutions, including Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, and the National Cancer Centre, Tokyo. These experiences have helped him adopt modern surgical techniques and evidence-based cancer treatment approaches.

Throughout his career, he has served as a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at prominent hospitals such as DY Patil Medical College, Niramaya Hospital, and Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune. His key areas of expertise include pancreatic and colorectal cancer surgery, advanced laparoscopic oncology procedures, and Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery (VATS).
