Dr. Abhijit Joshi

Dr. Abhijit Joshi is a highly skilled and renowned Interventional Cardiologist in Baner, Pune, currently serving as Head of Department and Consultant – Cardiology at Manipal Hospital, Baner. He completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Aurangabad (1990), MD in Medicine from Teerth Government Medical College (1995), and DNB Cardiology from Delhi (2003).

With over 25 years of experience, his expertise includes complex coronary angioplasty, chronic total occlusion (CTO) angioplasties, pacemaker therapy, cardiac resynchronisation therapy (CRT), implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) therapy, balloon mitral valvuloplasty, TAVR, and advanced heart failure management.

He has received global recognition for research publications on acute myocardial infarction and acute coronary syndrome. Internationally trained in France, Belgium, the USA, and Australia, he is also President of the CSI Pune Chapter and actively contributes to public health awareness through reputed media platforms.
